The Hurricanes are in the middle of a 22-game home stand to end the regular season. So far on the home stand they are 7-2 including a 2-1 record over #15 Virginia. SP J.D. Cockroft has not allowed a run in the last 21.2 innings. RP George Huguet, career leader in saves, has been suspended from the team and his status is unknown. Last season the Hurricanes squared off against the Dolphins in Jacksonville and lost the series 1-2. This season the Dolphins have been up and down. Their ace Dennis Robinson, a transfer from North Carolina and a 42nd round draft pick in 2000 by Toronto, leads them.
