The Friday Stock Report

The Miami Hurricanes (6-2) visit the Virginia Cavaliers (7-1) for a key ACC game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on ABC. This week's Stock Report takes a look at nine key numbers on the Miami season.

– The number of players on the roster from the state of Delaware. DT Orien Harris enjoys the honors as he hails from Newark. Harris has not had the season he had hoped for when he was on numerous preseason teams, but he is looking to finish strong.

– The number of ACL injuries starting RB Frank Gore has had in the past two seasons. He reportedly suffered a bruised knee last game, but Coker said he is fine. Gore has rushed for 541 yards and six touchdowns this season.

– The number of interceptions that team-leader Greg Threat has. Threat also leads the team in tackles with 105. He is on pace for over 150 tackles this year. The coaching staff would prefer if the linebackers would make more tackles, but you can't complain about Threat's play this year.

– The number of touchdowns Devin Hester has returned this season. He scored on two punt returns against Louisiana Tech in the second game of the season. Hester returned the opening kickoff 100 yards against North Carolina State a week after he returned a punt against Louisville in the fourth quarter.

– The number of losses head coach Larry Coker has at Miami. He is 41-5 in his career, but fans have grown restless of the way the team has played of late. Coker and company need to win the next three games to win a share of the ACC title and a possibility of a BCS bowl berth for the fifth straight season.

– The number of touchdowns WR Roscoe Parrish has scored in the last six games. He leads the team in receptions with 27 and receiving yards with 424 yards. Although he is only 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds he is a tough match up for opposing defenses because of his quickness and ability to run routes.

– The number of field goals Jon Peattie has made within 35 yards. He is a perfect 7-for-7 on the season, but only 3-for-11 outside of 35 yards. Peattie recently had a conversation with Coker stating he will still confident in his abilities and Coker wanted to make sure he wasn't thinking too much about it.

– The number of seniors who have started this year for the Hurricanes. Only four of those are expected to start Saturday because of injuries. QB Brock Berlin and CB Antrel Rolle headline this year's senior class.

– The jersey number of talented freshman WR Lance Leggett (Bartow, FL). The 6-foot-4 Leggett has enjoyed the starting receiver role and has 13 catches, 246 yards, and three touchdowns on the season.
