"Miami is recruiting me as a tackle," Pou said. I love this idea because he brings the necessary footwork, athletic ability, and technique to become an outstanding college tackle.
The talented lineman has had a slight change near the top of his list.
"Before, it was pretty much Miami, Florida, and Tennessee," he said. "Now it's between Miami, Arkansas, and Tennessee. I owe it to Coach Huntley to take my visit to Florida next weekend, but I'm not real sure about Florida anymore."
A full academic qualifier, Pou has already taken two official trips.
"I have been to Auburn and Arkansas," he said. "Arkansas is right up there, but Auburn is out. I just wasn't feeling it there. I got Tennessee this weekend, then Florida, then Miami on the 25th."
Pou says Arkansas is recruiting him as an offensive tackle as well, while Tennessee is recruiting him to play defensive tackle.
"Miami had a great season," he said. "I spoke to Coach Kehoe a few nights ago. He knows that I am very interested in Miami and I'm strongly considering them. But I need to check out some other places to have something to compare it with."
Personally, it continues to sound like Pou will be a Hurricane on signing day. In my eyes, he's one of the state's top four prospects along with Devin Hester, Ryan Moore, and Max Jean-Gilles.
