Edorian McCullough Interview

The talented cornerback from Texas provides an update on the recruiting process. He talks about how close he is to a decision and where the Hurricanes currently stand.

Track season has started for North Garland, Texas standout Edorian McCullough and he's ready to beat last year's best personal time of 10.25 electronically in the 100m, making him one of the fastest prospects in the entire country.

"I was scheduled to visit Oklahoma this past weekend," he said. "But I didn't go because I was singing in the choir at church on Sunday. We rescheduled it for January 25."

In the meantime, the standout cornerback will visit Texas.

"It's still the same five," he said. "Miami has been my best trip so far, but I'm still considering Texas A&M and Nebraska too. They're all even."

At 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds, McCullough says he's scheduled to receive in-home visits from Texas and Texas A&M this week, but hasn't set one up with Miami yet.

"I'll probably be ready to announce after my visit to Texas," he said. Does that mean the Sooners might be out?

"No, I have been there before and I know what it's like," he said. "I'm just ready to make a decision and after next week, I will have already been to all the places I am still considering. I really don't have a single favorite or anything right now."
