Chris Anderson Interview

The talented defensive lineman from Jacksonville is getting real close to making a decision. So with all his visits done with, where do the Hurricanes stand? He provides all the answers.

"I went up to South Carolina last weekend," Jacksonville (Mandarin) defensive lineman Chris Anderson told me tonight. "It went really good. I liked the school, the coaches, and the players. I like everything about their program."

Was it enough to put the Cocks ahead of the in-state powers?

"Well, Miami hasn't called me in while, so it's pretty much South Carolina and Florida State. I'm favoring South Carolina, they're my leaders right now. They say I can come in and play right away as a defensive end. Florida State wants me as a tackle."

At 6-2 and 280, Anderson said he has cancelled his remaining trips.

"I was scheduled to visit Michigan State, but I'm not going now," he said. "I'll make a decision in about a week. It's between South Carolina and Florida State."
