The talented defensive tackle from Virginia is getting closer to making a final decision.
"I took a trip to Florida State," he said. "It went well. I liked the coaches more than anything. It was a good visit, but it wasn't enough to put them at the top or anything like that."
Lewis was asked to compare that visit to the one he took to Miami on Dec 14.
"They both have great programs," he said. "Miami is always putting out great defensive linemen though. And the town at Florida State aint like Miami. It's a lot slower and not as much is happening."
At 6-2 and 290, Lewis has one final trip remaining.
"I am going to Virginia this week," he said. "It'll by my last trip and then I'll be able to sit down and sort everything out. I'm still considering all five schools that I have visited."
So who has the upper hand among UM, Florida State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Virginia?
"I'd say I'm still leaning towards Tech a little cause my brother is there," he said. "But I also really like Miami. It's going to be a tough decision that I probably won't announce till signing day on the 6th."
Lewis says he's scheduled to receive in-home visits from Virginia Tech and Virginia this week. "Miami's already been here once," he said.
