* She's been on every visit he's taken so far, including Miami, and will be in Oklahoma with him this coming weekend.
* Vince graduates H.S. on Dec. 17th and he will have his announcement in by the 27th (so he has enough time to begin the enrollment process).
Now onto his mother's comments on the UM visit ...
"Miami is an excellent school and we all had a really nice time there," she said. "Academics are the most important to us and we really were very impressed with Miami's program. We had a chance to look into their engineering program and we were very impressed with that. Vincent also had a chance to watch the football team going through practices as they prepare for their bowl game. He seems to really enjoy being around the players and the coaches at Miami. It's a small campus and the whole team provides a family-type environment. The coaches, every one of them, are real genuine and we know that Vincent would be in good hands with them. As a parent, I was very impressed with everything and Miami's definitely one of the schools Vincent will consider when he makes his final choice. Our last trip will be this weekend to Oklahoma. We'll return Sunday and spend next week trying to narrow everything down so Vincent can make a final choice. It's all very exciting but we're ready for it to be over with."
