Recruit Drops UM From List

Conredge Collins is one of the top running back prospects in the state of Florida this year. He finished the season with just over 1,200 yards and now he's beginning to really focus on the recruiting process.

For the last several weeks, Collins has been going back and forth between Florida State and Miami. Things are starting to change now. He provided the latest.

"I just got back from NC State this past weekend," Collins said. "It was tight. I got to hang out with a bunch of Florida guys from down here. They're a good group of guys. My next visit is Florida State on the 7th then Ohio State on the 14th and then Florida on the 28th. I haven't even set up my visit to Miami because they never really set it up."

Collins talked more about his situation with Miami.

"Even if they do call back, I'm not even gonna pay much attention," he said. "They're trying to recruit me as a fullback. I'm a running back, not a fullback. I'm not interested. I don't care what they try telling me. I'm looking at the four schools I mentioned."

Collins is a full academic qualifier.
