"It's pretty crazy with all the coaches coming by all the time and everything," Owens said. "I've been to Georgia and Virginia Tech and I'm leaving for Oklahoma in the morning."
Owens has two visits set for January but he's not sure he'll even need to take them.
"I already know where I'm gonna go," he said. "I wanna announce it at the CaliFlorida Bowl (Jan 2). It's just that I'm gonna have a hard time telling the coaches at the other schools that I won't be coming."
Owens dropped a couple hints as to which schools may no longer be on his list.
"If I commit early then what about those last two visits," he said about scheduled visits to Miami and Florida State. "I'd still probably wanna take them."
The talented defensive tackle prospect, 6-1 and 260 pounds, spoke more about the Hurricanes.
"Great program and they've kinda kept in touch with me lately," he said. "But like I said, I know where I'm gonna go."
At this point, it doesn't appear as if UM will be his likely destination.
