As UM continues getting a bevy of commitments, one recently dropped off the list.
"I'm in a tough situation right now with my test scores," offensive lineman Emmitt Tatum said. "I'm looking at some Junior Colleges in Mississippi and Texas right now."
At 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, Tatum committed to UM last summer, but says it won't happen till at least another two years.
"Hopefully I do well enough to come back to Miami," he said.
Tatum says he and his coach have been talking with Northwest Mississippi JuCo. "At Miami, I would have had to redshirt my first year. At a Junior College, I can hopefully play right away."
He said if his test scores work out, Florida Atlantic is a possibility because things with UM don't appear to be working out. "I haven't heard from Miami in a long time."
