I caught up with offensive lineman Mark Farris tonight, who was gearing up for his final visit this weekend.
"I am going to Michigan State on Friday," he said. "It'll be my last trip. I went to Penn State last weekend and had a real good time. It was a good experience and I got to meet all the coaches."
At 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, Farris has already been to Miami and Pittsburgh.
"They're all tough to compare," he said. "All three went very well overall. They all have their plusses and minuses. I'll know a lot more after my visit this weekend. I'll then be able to sit down and come up with a final decision."
Farris said coaches from Penn State and Pittsburgh are scheduled to stop by for in-home visits this week, but not Miami.
