My Projected Class (Jan 22)

With exactly two weeks left until signing day, here is my best guess as to which players will be signing with the Hurricanes on signing day.

Note: This is just my own personal opinion of the situation. It'll be interesting to see how accurate I am two weeks from now when all the recruits sign official letters of intent on national signing day (Feb 6).

Three players are already enrolled into school. Quarterback Brock Berlin, running back J.R. Mounts, and fullback Talib Humphrey all started classes at UM on Jan 14.

In addition, the Hurricanes have secured public commitments from 15 players - QB Marc Guillon, WR Ryan Moore, WR Akieem Jolla, WR Senorice Moss, WR Darnell Jenkins, TE Curtis Justus, OL Anthony Wollschlager, DL Baraka Atkins, DL Alton Wright, LB Antonio Reynolds, DB Terrell Walden, DB Devin Hester, DB Greg Threat, DB Glenn Sharpe, and PK Jon Peattie.

The following players are who I think will round out this year's recruiting class.

FB Brandon Snow - He's very good friends with Orien Harris and I think he'll make a commitment to UM in February.

OL Alex Pou - Big time local kid that UM has recruited very hard all year. I think he'll announce for the Hurricanes over Florida after his visit to UM this weekend.

OL Max Jean-Gilles - Miami - See Pou, except Gilles will pick the Hurricanes over Georgia.

OL Terrell McGill - He's been to Florida, NC State, and LSU, but I think with Emmitt Tatum off the commitment list, McGill become a Hurricane this weekend during his visit.

DL Kareem Brown - The local standout will commit to UM after his visit this weekend, in my opinion.

DL Brodrick Bunkley - I've said it all year and I still think he'll be a Hurricane on Feb 6. It appears to be a 3-team race between the in-state powers.

LB Nate Harris - Since I think we need a LB or two in this class and since Nicholson probably isn't coming, I think Harris will make a commitment to UM after his visit here this weekend.

DB Pat Watkins - Miami - If the hometown pressure from FSU is too much, then we'll get Brandon Merriweather instead.

DB Travarous Bain - Miami - The son of former UM standout defensive back Tolbert Bain, he should announce a commitment to UM around signing day.
