Travarous Bain Interview

At 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, Bain is one of the state's fastest players. He starts track season next month, as he's aiming for his fourth straight appearance in the state meet. As a junior, Bain ran an electronically-timed 10.40 in the 100m.

"I've only really taken one trip so far," Miami Northwestern cornerback Travarous Bain said tonight. "I went to N.C. State a couple weeks ago and had a good time. It was fun."

"I just love to run," he said. "It really helps me on the field."

Bain says he'll take two more official visits before making a final decision.

"I'm going to Miami this weekend," he said. "I had to change Arkansas to next weekend."

When asked if Bain has made a commitment to anyone yet, he denied it.

"I haven't committed anywhere yet," he said. "I don't have to. It's out of Miami, N.C. State, and Arkansas. I like all of them a lot."

Personally, I think Bain has known all year where he's going. I always got that impression, and I think it'll obviously be the Hurricanes.
