Combine Notes

Day one of the NFL Combine showcased workouts for the offensive linemen, and a few Hurricanes checked in nicely.

Bryant McKinnie did not work out because of a sore pec muscle. He will do all of his workouts at Miami's Pro Day next week.

The talented offensive tackle, who did not allow a sack his entire college career, checked in at 6-foot-8 and 343 pounds. Texas offensive tackle Mike Williams, who is competing with McKinnie for the top spot among offensive linemen, tipped the scales at 6-5 5/8 and 378 pounds.

Martin Bibla checked in and posted the top bench pressing numbers of the first day. The former four-year starter for the Hurricanes listed 225 pounds 35 times.
