Spring Scrimmage Report (4/3)

The Miami Hurricanes practiced for two hours in full pads Wednesday afternoon at the Greentree Practice Fields on the UM campus as Spring Football practices continued for the final week. Some extensive scrimmaging highlighted the day.

"We had a good day today, a lot of scrimmaging and we needed it," Coker said. "We're fine tuning some things and we're in pretty good shape for this time of year, but it's clear we have a lot of work to do when August comes."

On the injury front, two Hurricanes defensive ends missed the practice. Cornelius Green missed the workout due to a foot injury and Andrew Williams sat out with a minor knee injury.

The Hurricanes will conclude Spring Practice with practice on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 at Greentree. The spring will formally end with the annual FOX SportsNet CanesFest Spring Game at the Orange Bowl on Saturday morning starting at 10 a.m. That event will be televised live by FOX SportsNet Florida.

Fans can join the team at the Orange Bowl on Saturday and get an early peek at the Hurricanes in action during their annual Spring Game. Fans who purchase season tickets that day can select seats for the upcoming season, which features home games against Florida State and Virginia Tech. In addition to the game, players and coaches will be available for autographs and fans can tour the Hurricane locker room.
