Coker Post Game vs Duke

Head coach Larry Coker addressed the media following a 52-7 victory over Duke to improve the Canes record to 4-1 on the season.

[On the defense's performance]
"I was just really, really proud of our defense. They came ready to play. I was please with their efforts. We're getting better, better and better. I told our team that it's all about building. We haven't put the roof on yet, but I can see the walls coming in. I want them to catch that vision."

[On Devin Hester missing the second half]
"He's fine. He was just tired. He had to take an IV. Devin's body fat is four percent. That's not very much. The point being that when you have a really low body fat, you tend to dehydrate really quickly."

[On Andrew Johnson]
"We need to play him more. It seems like to me if he's making 46-yard runs. Andrew again can give us that speed wee need, that homerun. That's why we need to see him."

[On the team's dropped balls]
"You can't worry about drops; you've got to worry about how you catch the ball. We'll continue to get better."
