When Miami has the ball…
QB Kyle Wright vs. CB Marcus Hamilton

Hamilton (5-11/185) is arguably the Cavaliers best defensive player. Earlier this year he shut down Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson (4 catches, 41 yards) and is second on the team in tackles. Wright (6-4/220) did not throw the ball very well at all last week in the loss. Wright ranks second in the ACC in pass efficiency (139.0). It will be very important for Wright to avoid sacks and get the ball to his receivers downfield.

When Virginia has the ball…
QB Marques Hagans vs. SS Brandon Meriweather

Hagans (5-10/210) gave Miami troubles on the ground last year when he rushed for 85 yards on nine carries. He only passed for 94 yards on 25 attempts. Meriweather (6-0/190) is Miami's leading tackler and is tied for the team lead in interceptions. He will be keeping a close eye on Hagans.
