Standout DT Listing UM

This standout defensive tackle has attracted some of the top programs from across the country into his school this month. He is listing UM among his early favorites.

At 6-foot-2 and 275 pounds, Homestead (Fla) South Dade standout defensive tackle Eddie Boza is enjoying a busy spring. Boza, who might be the strongest player in the state (he bench presses 425 pounds), is the reason several college coaches have stopped by the school this month.

As a junior, Boza finished with 48 tackles, seven sacks, and three caused fumbles. Inside the classroom, he carries a 2.64 GPA and just recently tested.

Boza, who is also one of the top heavyweight wrestlers in south Florida, indicated on a questionnaire that his early favorites are Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Nebraska, and Miami. He has not yet received any scholarship offers.

Personally, I haven't seen Boza in person yet but I hope to see him at Down & Dirty, a linemen camp held in July.
