Sinorice Wants Performance Similar to Santana

Senior wide receiver Sinorice Moss leads the receivers in catches (35), yards (604), and touchdowns (6). He is looking forward to ending his career on a positive note against LSU in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bown on Friday.

Sinorice Moss is the younger brother of Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss who torched the Giants on Saturday with five catches, 160 yards, and three touchdowns.

University of Miami head coach Larry Coker wants the same performance from Sinorice.

"I told him that I wanted the same type of performance Santana had," Coker said.

"He said he is fine with that."

Sinorice was all smiles when reporters asked him about duplicating Santana's performance.

"He wants to have a big day like my brother did on Christmas Eve," Sinorice said. "That sounds great. I would love to be able to do that to help the team win the football game."

Moss will be without his starting receiver counterpart Ryan Moore, who has been suspended for the Peach Bowl by Coker due to a violation of team policy.

Moss was asked if this adds pressure to himself and the receivers as a unit.

"Not really," Moss said. "It doesn't put any pressure on us at all. As a a receiver corps we already know that we have to come out here and make plays to win the game.

With only four receivers and Devin Hester expected to be in the rotation, it could be tiring. "It hurts a little bit with just me, Darnell Jenkins, Khalil Jones, and Lance Leggett Moss said. "We will just have to rotate a lot"

Hester, who is expected to have primarily a role on offense, has been used in a wide variety of formations.

"He has looked great on offense," Moss said. "Just give him the ball and he will do what he does. We have tremendous confidence in him."

Moss and the 'Canes resume practice tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
