"This was a good practice today. We are practicing fast and I think we stayed healthy today. The guys look good and are ready to play."

· CB Kelly Jennings means "more than you will ever know" to the defensive backs according to Coker. Not only is he a solid player, but he is a quiet leader. The senior from Live Oak will be playing in his final game as a Hurricane on Friday.
· OL Anthony Wollshlager will be a key to the offensive line as he will go up against arguably the best interior line the Canes have faced all season. Wollschlager has improved throughout the season, but will need to have a strong game in order to keep the Miami offense at a balanced attack.
· WR Ryan Moore (suspension), FS Anthony Reddick (ACL), CB Glenn Sharpe (ACL), LB Tavares Gooden (shoulder), RB Tyrone Moss (ACL), WR Terrell Walden (knee), RB George Timmons (leg) and DT Dwayne Hendrinks (leg) will not play in the bowl game.
