When Miami has the ball…
OL Anthony Wollschlager vs. DT Kyle Williams/DT Claude Wroten

Wollschlager (6-4/280) is the lone junior on the Miami offensive line and will have his hands full with Williams (6-2/295) and Wroten (6-3/295), both of who are all-SEC first-team players. It is imperative Wollschlager does a good job in both run blocking and in pass protection. If he can do a good job with opening holes for the backs and giving Wright time to throw, the 'Canes offense will be able to pick up positive yardage.

When LSU has the ball…
RB Joseph Addai vs. LB Roger McIntosh

Addai (6-0/215) will be expected to carry the offensive load for the Tigers with Flynn making his first start. Addai also does a good job of catching the ball out of the backfield and the Miami defense will have to keep their eyes on him. McIntosh (6-2/230) is the best linebacker on the team and will have to do a good job in pass defense and against the run to set the tone for the Miami defense.
