After measuring in at 6-feet and 195 pounds at the recent NIKE Camp at Palo Alto, Hamilton continued to show why he's among the nation's elite, despite nursing a tender hamstring.
Hamilton's also a track standout, as he competes in the 100m and 200m. As a junior, his best times were a 10.80 FAT, which shows off his blazing speed and a 21.30 200m time.
Inside the classroom, Hamilton carries a 3.2 GPA and will test on June 8. However, he's been very busy with recruiting lately.
"Man, it's been real busy around here lately," Hamilton said. "Lots of schools have been stopping by the school and calling. Miami, Michigan, Fresno State, UCLA, USC, Oklahoma, Nebraska, there were a bunch of them."
Hamilton already has an impressive offer sheet.
"Oklahoma sent me an offer, Miami did, Michigan, Nebraska, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, I've been getting a bunch of them."
Hamilton says he's not even started to narrow down hist list yet.
"I like all of the schools recruiting me right now," he said. "I won't know which ones I like best until I make some visits."
Hamilton did talk about the Hurricanes.
"I like their program," he said. "They've been big time for many years, and I they're always near the top. I'll probably be going down to Miami for a visit later in the year. They told me I'm their No. 1 running back so that's good too. I like Miami a lot right now."
Hamilton plans on attending summer camps at Cal-Berkley and Nevada-Reno in the coming weeks.
Definitely keep your eyes on this one, as Hamilton appears to be UM's top running back prospect at this point.
