RB Took in Junior Day

T.J. Clark put his name on the recruiting map after a strong sophomore season when he rushed for close to 1,500 yards.

He followed up with a strong junior performance, despite missing three games because of injury. He still rushed for 1,073 yards and 10 touchdowns in seven games. Clark talks about his game.

"As the game goes on, I get stronger," Clark said. "I'm already a powerful runner and when people are wearing down in the second half, I'm just getting started."

At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, T.J. Clark is still waiting on his first offer but several schools seem real interested. He lists some early favorites.

"My top choice is Florida," he said. "I like the shotgun/spread offense. We run a little bit of that here and I like what they're doing with it at Florida. I think I could fit in well there. I get hand-written mail from them too. The rest would be Florida State, Miami, Auburn, and Alabama."

The Melbourne High standout, who has been to Junior Day events at Miami and Florida State, plans on attending the Scout.com All-American Combine in Boca Raton on May 13. He talked more about the Hurricanes.

"I've gotten a few hand-written letters from them," he said. "I like Miami a lot. I went for NFL Pro Day there. I really liked the facilities and Miami's a powerhouse program. They said they'd come by in the spring to watch me."
