OL Has UM as Co-Favorite

Emeka Nwankwo might be the state's best offensive line prospect. The talented big man from Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna is watching his offer number grow on a steady basis.

"I am now up to 10 offers from Duke, Florida, Pitt, Virginia, UCF, FIU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Georgia," Nwankwo said.

At 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, Nwankwo got very excited about one of those offers in particular -- one that came in yesterday.

"I was ecstatic because I never thought that Georgia was even looking at me in that way to give me an offer," he said. "They were on my radar since I went to NMB and since Max Jean Gilles attended there and now he's going to the NFL. They have moved up my list to maybe now even being tied for first on my top five."

The other co-favorite remains the University of Miami, who is the only school in his top five that hasn't offered yet.

"Miami's still No. 1," he said. "I really like Coach Cristobal and I really like the program they have there. They're always a little tighter with offering people so I just have to keep working hard."

Florida, Auburn, and Virginia round out his list of early favorites.

Emeka Nwankwo and several of his teammates plan to attend the Scout.com All-American Combine on May 13 in Boca Raton.
