Canes, Gators Even For LB

Ronnie St. Fleur is emerging as one of the top linebacker prospects in South Florida this year.

At 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, Ronnie St. Fleur is now up to five offers.

"FIU and FAU offered recently," St. Fleur said after getting early offers from Duke, Pittsburgh, and Rutgers. "Hopefully they'll keep coming."

The talented linebacker said he thinks Florida is getting more and more interested, especially after he took a trip up there for Junior Day.

"They said they just wanna see more tape before offering," he said. "I think they'll like what they see. Junior Day there was fun. There's lots of competition on the field and for the scholarships."

St. Fleur attended Junior Day at Miami as well and the Hurricanes are still at the top of his list, along with the Gators.

"UM has the tradition and Florida has the competition," he said. "They both seem real interested so I guess we'll see who offers."

The Hollywood Hills standout plans on attending the Scout.com All-American Combine at FAU on May 13.
