WR Adds Offers

Tarus McKinley is preparing for spring practice after an excellent junior season and a solid offseason.

He went to a combine held at the University of Miami on Sunday and was very impressive.

"McKinley from Glades Central was the best receiver there in my opinion," said Miami Pace standout cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke. "He's real quick and strong."

Tarus McKinley, 6-feet and 190 pounds, talked about the latest.

"I've just been chillin," McKinley said. "I've been running track and just getting ready for spring. We play Daytona Mainland in the spring game so I'm looking forward to that."

The talented receiver picked up a few scholarship offers in recent weeks and has added them to his list of early favorites.

"West Virginia, Georgia, and South Carolina offered me," he said. "My top schools are those three plus UM and LSU. I haven't been to any Junior Days since the one at UM."

McKinley plans on attending the Scout.com All-American Combine at FAU on May 13.
