Ronnie McCullough Update

At 6-feet and 210 pounds, Tampa (Fla) Hillsborough is coming off an outstanding spring performance and was scheduled to attend the University of Miami camp this past weekend. However, the talented linebacker was unable to make it but he still talks highly of the Hurricanes.

"I went to the Florida camp and didn't get enough rest to make it to Miami this weekend," McCullough said. "I think I did pretty well at Florida. I was surrounded by good talent and I was named the MVP of both the running backs and linebackers. That's a great honor because there were a lot of very good players out there."

McCullough said he still likes the Hurricanes.

"I'm still very high on Miami," he said. "We've been in touch through mail and stuff since they can't call again until September. They know that I'm interested. Florida hasn't offered me yet, but based on what they told me after the camp, I'm pretty sure they're going to. I'm just going to go out and play hard and help my team win this season."

A full academic qualifier, McCullough is also considering Florida State, Notre Dame, and a host of others in addition to the Canes and Gators.
