Lars Anderson is quickly emerging as one of the top tight end prospects in the state of Florida.

The Winter Springs standout finished last season with 20 catches for 250 yards and six touchdowns. He also graded out at 89-percent on his blocking assignments.

"I have good receiving skills," Anderson said. "I'm very versatile, too. I can catch the ball and I can also block and that's important for a tight end to be able to do both."

Lars Anderson, 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, has already picked up a few early offers and expects more later this month.

"I've gotten offers from UCF and FIU," he said. "The coach from Nebraska came by and said he will request to his head coach that I get offered. I'm not sure if that counts or not but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting one from them. Miami requested tape. Georgia and UCLA are showing interest. I'm open to everyone right now, though."

The talented tight end took in Junior Day at Miami back in March.

"I went down there and really enjoyed it," he said. "They have a great program with a lot of good players. I enjoyed it a lot."

Anderson plans on attending the Scout.com All-American Combine at FAU on May 13.
