"I had fun," Williams said. "There was a lot of good defensive linemen here and I thought I did well."
Ian Williams, 6-foot-2 and 300 pounds, was a first team All-Conference pick as a junior last season.
"The way I can read offensive linemen is what sets me apart," he said. "I always know where the ball's going and I can make plays at the times I really need to."
The talented big man has nearly a dozen offers and lists six early favorites.
"I have a top six," he said. "Number one is Florida, number two is Clemson, three is Notre Dame and Texas, four is Auburn, and five is Miami. Florida and Clemson have offered."
Williams talked about what he likes about the Gators.
"They were the first to offer and are showing the most interest," he said. "They've been there from the beginning. It's a great place and the coaches are great."
Williams also spoke more about the Hurricanes.
"I went to their spring game and it was real cool meeting a few of their players," he said. "I saw the campus, the locker room, and all that. It's a real good opportunity. The coach said he's coming up here next week."
