Massive OL Visits UM

Kevin Bryant is one of the top offensive line prospects in the state of Florida and the Hallandale (soon to be Boyd Anderson) High standout recently took a visit to his hometown school.

"I went down to UM last week for an unofficial visit," Bryant said. "It was pretty good. It was a nice family atmosphere down there. They have some real intense workouts. They were showing me around the school and the coaches were showing me some love. I really like Coach Cristobal."

Kevin Bryant, who cancelled plans to attend Florida's Friday Night Lights Camp tonight, is instead headed to LSU for the weekend.

"I'm going up to LSU to check things out," he said. "I'm real interested in them and I'll do a little bit of both (camp and visit)."

Bryant, 6-foot-7 and 360 pounds, has been working out at a local gym called Perfect Competition, which is known nationally as one of the elite athlete-enhancement gyms in America.

"Oh man, it's real intense there," he said. "The thing they stress is that hard work pays off. You see results, too. In no time pretty much, my 40-time was down, my bench was up, and I'm trimming down. I'm loving it."

The talented offensive lineman says he's still considering five schools and all five have offered him.

"I'm still looking at USC, Georgia, Florida, Miami, and LSU," he said. "I'll probably end up announcing something on signing day. Basically, education is most important. And my family must be comfortable with my decision. You know, can they make it to my games and stuff."
