"I just got back from trips to N.C. State and Clemson," Anderson said. "I went to N.C. State's camp for a day and I just visited Clemson."
The Winter Springs tight end came away very impressed with Tiger Country.
"Let me tell you, Clemson's the real deal," he said. "They're putting a lot of money into their stadium and the academics were amazing. It's just a great place. N.C. State was nice too. I did really well at their camp."
Lars Anderson already had an offer from one of those schools and he's hoping one comes from the other.
"N.C. State had already offered me," he said. "I hope Clemson does, too. They have some offers out there and I'm in the next batch of kids they would offer at tight end."
Anderson, 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, also has written offers from UCF, Marshall, Akron, and FIU. He's also hoping for an offer from one of the in-state schools.
"As you know, I went to Miami's camp and did well," he said. "I haven't followed up with a phone call yet but I have started getting hand-written mail from them. They're letting me know they're interested. I think they both want to see senior tape first."
