"The afternoon was a much better practice, as we expected it to be," Coker said. "We saw video of the morning practice and they really picked it up in the afternoon practice. I was impressed with the wide receivers in the afternoon workout. They really showed some speed and ability. It was an excellent afternoon and was certainly encouraging."
The newest Hurricanes will not practice on Friday, but will join the
returning varsity players for Media Day beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the
Edgerrin James Meeting Room in the Hecht Athletic Center.
The full varsity begins two-a-day practices Saturday, Aug. 10, with workouts
slated for 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Workouts are open to the public through
Friday, August 16.
