When Miami has the ball…
OL #77 Reggie Youngblood vs. DE #42 Antwan Barnes

Barnes makes plays--12 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. In comparison, Miami's leader in tackles for loss has 5.5. Barnes is slippery off the snap and hard to contain. Youngblood must keep Barnes out of the UM backfield or it could be a long night.

When FIU has the ball…
RB #3 A'mod Ned vs. DT #95 Bryan Pata

Pata is UM's best run stopper on a defense that ranks 8th against the run allowing 63 yards a game. For FIU to stay in the game, they must establish a ground game, which falls on Ned, a 5-foot-9, 185-pound back from Miami Northeast.
