• WR Lance Leggett was limited in Wednesday's practice with a knee injury. He hurt his knee in Saturday's loss to Georgia Tech, but is expected to play against Virginia Tech.

• OL Alex Pou has a right knee sprain and is questionable for Saturday's game.

• DT Kareem Brown said the Hurricanes aren't impressed with Virginia Tech RB Branden Ore's back-to-back 200-yard games. Brown said: "That doesn't matter because he didn't play us and our caliber of players. He has to prove it to us that he can get it on us."

• Coker said the team is very closing to putting everything together although it appears the team is farther and farther from where they need to be. "We have done some good things, but not enough good things to win," Coker said.
