WR Has UM In Top Three

A.J. Guyton is one of the top wide receiver prospects in South Florida this year and the Homestead High standout talked about the latest.

"I went up to Orlando for a visit this past weekend," Guyton said. "It was me, Jameil (Farrington), JoeJoe (Nicholas), and Alphonso (Bryant). It went real great."

Guyton, 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, spoke more about the visit to UCF.

"We got to hang out with the players and coaches," he said. "I ate real good, I know that. The most impressive thing was how much Coach O'Leary stresses academics. He doesn't play around with that. When he got there, the team GPA was like 2.1 and now it's 2.9 and that's only been a few years. It's a real nice campus and they're getting a brand new football stadium and basketball arena."

While he doesn't have any other visits lined up, the talented wide receiver prospect said he'll probably wait till January for his other trips.

"I'll probably visit Miami and Ole Miss in January," he said. "Those are the three schools that are still calling and recruiting me the hardest. I'm hearing from Miami but they're waiting to get the coaching situation settled. UCF is coming next week to visit me at the house."
