Freshman Dwayne Collins has started the last three games for the Hurricanes. Listen to his high school coach, Marcus Carreno, talk about Collins and his future.

Dwayne Collins is averaging 7.2 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 61.3 percent from the floor through 13 games this season.

Collins, a 6-foot-8 freshman forward, is averaging 20.2 minutes per game and has started the last three games.

Last year as a senior at Miami Senior High, he averaged 24 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks per game and helped lead the team to a state title as a junior in 2005.

The Hurricanes (7-6) will face Nebraska (8-3) on Dec. 30 at 4 p.m. in Sunrise, Fla.
