QB Controversy in 2007?

Miami started two quarterbacks in 2006, so will there be a controversy next season?

Sophomore Kirby Freeman is preparing to make his fourth consecutive start at quarterback while junior Kyle Wright watches from the sidelines with a fractured thumb.

Freeman started in place of Wright on Nov. 11 at Maryland after Wright had season-ending surgery after falling on his throwing thumb the week before.

The two have not shied away from stating their cases to the media as to who will start in 2007 when Wright is healthy.

Wright's case is that he has won the battle over Freeman twice and the only reason he lost the starting position was because of injury.

Freeman believes he is moving the ball better and is continuing to improve each game.

While it's not fair to compare career stats as Wright is 14-7 as the starting quarterback compared to Freeman's 1-2 record, so let's take a look at their first three starts of their careers.
