"They beat us 22-6 but we'll get a rematch," Henderson said. I will feel good about the next game. We start our season Friday against Lemon Bay. Having not played last year, I'm ready to start things up again."
Henderson, a full academic qualifier, said his offer sheet is now at five.
"In addition to Clemson, Pittsburgh, and Louisville, I picked up written offers from Florida and Wisconsin," he said. "Some coaches have even called me the last couple days."
One of those still watching, according to Henderson, is the University of Miami.
"I'm still hoping Miami offers," he said. "Coach Kehoe said he wants to see me play this season since I didn't play last season. I have to play hard enough to earn a scholarship. I wouldn't want it any other way. I just have to earn it now."
At 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds, Henderson named his list of favorites.
"My favorites would be everyone that has offered plus Miami and Florida State," he said. "They're all even until I take my visits and have a better idea of who wants me the most. I still have a lot to prove this season."
