Super OL Sets UM Visit

This super talented offensive line prospect has scheduled three of his five official visits and one of them is to the University of Miami. Read on to find out when he'll visit UM and what he thinks of the Hurricanes right now.

At 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, Saint Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Durham standout offensive lineman Ryan Harris has helped his team to a 3-2 start this season. However, that should be 5-0, according to Harris.

"We should be 5-0," he said. "We had an eligibility issue come up with one of our players and we had to forefit two of those games. But we're still No. 1 in the AP poll and everyone knows we're really 5-0. We just need to keep getting better each week and hopefully reach out optimum level when the playoffs start."

In five games, Harris has 14 tackles and seven quarterback sacks so far as a defensive lineman.

A full academic qualifier inside the classroom with a 26 ACT score, Harris is starting to set up some recruiting trips.

"All my favorites still call on a regular basis," he said. "Michigan, Notre Dame, Stanford, Wisconsin, Miami, UCLA, and USC. I'm in the process of setting up some trips."

The talented offensive lineman said he has three official trips lined up.

"I have Notre Dame for December 6 and Michigan for December 13," he said. "And it looks like Miami will be for October 18. I'm probably going to Wisconsin for an unofficial visit this weekend and they're another school I'd like to take an official to. The last one will be maybe to UCLA or USC sometime in November but I'm not sure yet."

Harris, who already attended the Notre Dame/Michigan game in person, said he is still very high on the Hurricanes.

"I watch them every time I have a chance," he said. "I really liked how they played against Florida. They proved how good they were. That was amazing. Miami's definitely one of the top schools on my list."

So who might be the top one and might it be the Canes?

"I have a favorite but I'm keeping that to myself right now," he said. "I'll take my visits and then make a final decision."
