OL Likes Kehoe; May Visit UM

One of the top offensive line prospects in his home state, this talented offensive lineman says there's "just something about" offensive line coach Art Kehoe that has him attracted to Miami. Read on to see what he thinks of the Hurricanes and where they rank on his current list.

At 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, Lancaster (Pa.) McCaskey offensive lineman Joel Holler has been playing very well for his 4-2 team this season.

"We've been playing pretty good," Holler said. "We had our homecoming this past weekend. I've been playing defense too and I think I have four sacks now."

Holler, who is fully qualified with a 950 SAT score, is down from weighing 348 pounds during the spring.

"I was getting a little too big," he said. "I started running and working more on conditioning. I would get up real early over the summer and try to get the shape I wanted to be in."

Holler has also been enjoying the recruiting process lately.

"I'm down to six schools," he said. "They are Miami, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, and Maryland. I'm trying to set up some trips so I can start narrowing it down some more. I had a tough time narrowing it down after the spring but I think this time it'll be more enjoyable since I'll be taking some visits."

Holler has not yet scheduled any official visits, although he plans on checking out Ohio State at the end of November.

"Everyone calling is trying to set up a visit date," he said. "I haven't decided on all of them yet."

Holler said he's still considering the Hurricanes.

"I think Miami has real good coaches," he said. "I've been talking to Coach Kehoe. I think he's an awesome coach. There's just something about him that you can't put your finger on. But he's great and Miami's definitely one of the schools I might visit after the season. Plus, you can't beat the kind of year they're having."
