This talented running back has been talking to the Miami coaches and hopes to take an official visit in the coming months. Read on to find out what he likes most about the Hurricanes.
At 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, Williamsport, Pa. standout running back Darrell Blackman
has helped his team to a 6-0 start this season by running at an incredible pace. Through those six games, Blackman has 1,425 yards and 22 touchdowns. He's also playing cornerback on defense.
"Things have been pretty quiet on defense though," he said. "Teams never be throwing my way."
Blackman, who will be taking the SAT on Saturday, also talked about the recruiting process.
"I have some favorites in mind," he said. "Teams like Maryland, N.C. State, Iowa, Miami, and a couple others. I really don't have [a favorite] because it's still up in the air right now."
The talented running back has scheduled one visit and that's to N.C. State on December 6.
"I don't know about the other ones yet," he said. "I'm going to try going to Michigan State, Indiana, Maryland, and Miami for my other four."
Blackman was asked about the Hurricanes.
"I've always been liking Miami," he said. "They're one of my favorite teams. They called to see how my season was going and to talk about a visit. I want to go south for college and that's in a great location. The only thing with Miami is they haven't offered yet but everyone else has. I guess I'll just have to wait and see."
