LB: It doesn't get any better than this

Antonio Harper is part of an impressive defensive recruiting class for Miami. He recently returned from his official visit to Miami and had some interesting things to say. Read on for the latest...

"The visit went well," said Antonio Harper. "I t was my only visit and it could not have gone any better"

Harper was hosted by his former Melrose High School teammate and Hurricanes running back Graig Cooper.

"Graig cooper was my host," said Harper "He was my teammate at Melrose . He is cool guy. I had a great experience. A met with a lot of the players and they are great guys."

The 6-foot-2 224 pound linebacker was given a tour of the campus and other areas around Miami . The highlight of his visit was a trip to Miami's new football home.

"Dolphin stadium was amazing," said Harper. "It is a great stadium. The have flat screen TVs all over the stadium. The stadium is beautiful."

Harper is recovering from a torn ACL and is not expected to make an immediate impact for the Canes.

"The rehab is going good," said Harper. "I will probably redshirt this season, but I will be back better than ever."

The 3-star linebacker also got to meet with his future head coach and his future position coach. Harper came away impressed by his future staff.

"Coach Shannon and Coach Barrow said they can not wait for me to get there," said Harper. "They were showing me some of the things they do on defense. They are both great coaches."

Harper remains a Miami commitment and will sign with the Canes on Wednesday.

"I am excited about being a Cane," said Harper. "I think I play with great technique and speed and once I am healthy I will make a big impact. I am going to Miami it does not get much better than that."
