Prediction Time

National Signing Day is tomorrow and that's when we'll all know what all the top prospects will officially decide to do. Until then, it's anyone's guess on several key recruits and here are our predictions.

Already enrolled in school:

QB Jacory Harris
QB Cannon Smith
FB Patrick Hill
FB John Calhoun
WR Aldarius Johnson
DL Marcus Forston
LB Sean Spence
LB Arthur Brown
K Jake Wieclaw

Definites (strongly committed):

QB Taylor Cook -- Early commitment who never took any other visits.
WR Travis Benjamin -- Committed to the Canes and never looked back.
WR LaRon Byrd -- A recent addition to the UM commitment list.
WR Thearon Collier -- Committed after getting offered after camp and never took any other visits.
WR Davon Johnson -- Summer commitment remained strong the entire year.
OL Brandon Washington -- Strong commitment who didn't visit any other schools.
DL Jeremy Lewis -- Visited four other schools but remains committed.
DL Micanor Regis -- Spring commitment who never took any other visits.
DL Andrew Smith -- Early season commitment who never took any other visits.
LB Jordan Futch -- Early commit who became a major recruiter himself.
LB Antonio Harper -- Commitment who is recovering from a torn ACL.
LB Zach Kane -- Never took any other visits.
LB Brandon Marti -- Once a Wisconsin commit, he never visited anyone after pledging to UM.
LB Marcus Robinson -- Took all of his visits but remains firmly committed.
S C.J. Holton -- Great get when the Canes stole him from FSU.
S C.J. Odom -- Mid-season commitment who never visited anyone else.
S Vaughn Telemaque -- Big get when the Canes beat USC for him.
S Joseph Wylie -- Early commitment who never took any other visits.

Likely (uncommitted players who we believe the Canes have a great chance of landing and likely will):

RB Jamie Harper -- Harper's been very quiet about his visit to Miami this past weekend and we believe that's a good sign for the Canes. They're in need of a big back like Harper and we believe he'll stay in-state and pick the Canes over Clemson. He plans to announce on ESPN at around 12:20 Wednesday.
WR Martavious Odoms -- Odoms told us earlier this week that he plans on signing a track scholarship with the Canes soon after signing day. We believe Odoms will play very early in his football career at Miami, too.
OL Benjamin Jones -- The Canes have recruited him hard from day one. He has several teammates coming and plays a need position. Jones will be part of a ceremony of Northwestern players that is scheduled to begin at 9 AM Wednesday.
LB/DL Gavin Hardin -- Hardin told us a couple weeks ago that his mind was already made up and that was just after his visit to Miami. We believe he'll ink with the Canes over Ole Miss on Wednesday.
CB Brandon Harris -- We believe he'll sign with Miami for a few reasons: 1) he has two close friends and teammates coming, 2) his father is friends with Randy Shannon, 3) his brother is an athlete at Miami, and 4) he's been a major priority for the Canes since day one. Harris is set to announce on one of the ESPN stations at 1 pm Wednesday.

Toss-ups (uncommitted players we believe are in the 50/50 range):

WR Tommy Streeter -- He was expected to have a final decision by Sunday night, then Monday afternoon. We believe he'll announce his final pick on Wednesday morning. The Canes are in the thick of it along with USF, South Carolina, and Oregon.
LB Ramon Buchanan -- He was committed to Miami for most of the year and now sems torn between the Canes and Gators. It'll be very interesting to see what he does on Wednesday with his final decision.
CB T.J. Bryant -- He's been very quiet about the entire process and no one seems to know at this point. We believe the Canes have a very good chance but Lincoln kids almost always pick FSU in the end.

Not happening (players we definitely don't believe will be signing with Miami):

WR Kendal Thompkins -- He visited Nebraska and we believe that's where he'll likely end up.
DL Jonathan Jackson -- Canes talked to him late but things never got serious enough. Look for him to give FIU a good one.
DL Corey Liuget -- Illinois or USF, it appears, after he went through the entire process without even officially visiting UM.
DL Nick Perry -- He visited late but it's a tall order getting him out of Michigan.
S Herman Davidson -- It doesn't look like there's room for an offer for Davidson. UNC.
