The Canes took the field for their last practice before their open scrimmage at Traz Powell. Miami worked on their two minute offense today.

"It was a typical day," said Shannon. "It was a tune up for our scrimmage tomorrow. We got the 2 minute drill in today. Tomorrow is an opportunity for the fans so to see the quarterbacks and some of the local guys that just got her.e They will get chance to see how much we have changed."

Miami will evenly rotate Robert Marve, Jacory Harris, and Cannon Smith tomorrow.

"Jacory, Marve, and Smith will be the QBs tomorrow. They are all going to get the same amount of reps. We are going to give them an equal chance to excute and work on some things."

-The defense dominated the practiced today according to several players.

-DeMarcus Van Dyke was one of the stars of today's practice. He supposedly batted several balls and locked down his side of the field.

-Marcus Forston had an interception today.

-Tervaris Johnson forced a Leonard Hankerson fumble today in a 2 minute drill

-Anthony Reddick is said to be improving with every day. He is getting comfortable with his knee.

-Leonard Hankerson, Sam Shields, and Aldarius Johnson continued to get praised by several players about their performance tihs spring.

"Aldarius is doing well. He is making sone nice catches. Coach Hill has doen a great job with the receivers. Hankerson has been impressive so far. Sam has really picked it up and is doing a great job.

-Tyler Horn was primarily the first team center today.

-Chris Barney continues to work with the first team. Joel Figueroa was the other guard.

-Youngblood and Fox continue to be the first team tackles.

-Coach Shannon said Coach Young is free to run his defense however he wants.

-Coach Shannon said that the Canes will probably pass and run the ball evenly tomorrow.

-The Canes will not have kickoffs or punts tomorrow. Field Goals will be the only form of special teams practiced tomorrow.
