Hardin received a special gift on his birthday, a qualifying score on the ACT. After scoring a 20, which was a high enough score to qualify for the University of Miami. He is now eligible to enroll for summer school and will report on June 24th.
"It felt great, it was a big load off my back," Hardin said. "I report on the 24th (of June), so I'll be down there next Tuesday, I'm real excited."
With that road bump behind him, he can now look forward to his future as a Miami Hurricane.
"I think they might use me as the rush end / outside linebacker," Hardin said. "That is right up my ally, it is what I did in high school."
Hardin, like most incoming freshmen, is excited to get on campus.
"I will get down there and play my part," Hardin said. "I look forward to playing and giving all of my efforts to school and football."
