Hardin, 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, said it was simply an issue with the paperwork with the NCAA Clearinghouse.
"It was an issue but it's already been taken care of," he said. "They were waiting on my ACT scores but they just got there so I'm all set. I'm coming down tomorrow."
The talented defensive end talked about what he's looking to accomplish this fall.
"We went 5-7 last year and that won't work at The U," he said. "That's gotta change. We gotta change that. I wanna help out any way I can. Even if I can't start, I wanna be able to help push some of the older guys and make them better. Competition makes everyone better."
