"That's up to them. It's whatever they feel like the situation calls for. I'm just going to be ready to play when the opportunity presents itself and they call on me."
Are you excited that you're going to be playing at Dolphin Stadium?
"Yeah, definitely. I always felt the opportunity would present itself. If it does, it does. I'm just going to be ready. If they call on me, then I'll be ready to take advantage of my opportunities."
Did you get more reps with the first team today than usual?
"We've been splitting reps throughout the fall, mixing and matching however they see fit. Yeah, I saw a lot of action today but I've been seeing a lot of action every practice. I think Coach Shannon's philosophy is to have all of us ready to play and that's what we've been doing in practice. We're all getting enough reps to be ready to play when it's game time."
How are you guys handling the extra attention that Robert Marve's suspension has brought?
"We feel bad for our teammate. He's been working really hard out here and we all have. He's handling it real well. He's handling it like a man. We're just getting prepared for the game."
What are some of your strength's that may separate you from the other quarterbacks?
"See that's the thing, I think if you look at me, Marve, and Jacory, we have a lot of similarities. I think we all throw the ball well. We all have the mobility to get second looks. We're all very dedicated and working hard in the film room. We're just trying to get down all the little things to help us be successful at this level. It's really a team unit. We work as a team. That's how we see it. We're always trying to help each other out."
How big of a loss is having Kayne Farquharson being suspended against Charleston Southern?
"Kayne's a great wide receiver but we've got a talented group of wide receivers. That's the way things are around here. We're going to support our teammate no matter what. At the same time, it's all about stepping up. I think we've got guys that are ready and willing to step up and meet the challenge."
