Hankerson discusses role; offense

Leonard Hankerson was available to speak to the media Sunday evening to discuss the offense and the recent suspension of starting quarterback, Robert Marve.

What is Charleston Southern bringing to the table?
They are going to work hard and compete and do what they have to do, play us hard so we have to go out there and play our game, so we'll have to go out there and do whatever we have to do to get a win.

Where will you be lining up on Thursday?
I'll line up wherever. Inside, outside, it doesn't matter. Wherever I get the job done, is where I'll stay at. So, I'll move around a lot.

What kind of new wrinkles will the offense have this season?
We have to finish plays. Do we what we have to do and work harder and compete. There is a lot of new stuff but we just need to get the job done on it.

Who has been stepping up on offense lately?
Everyone, the offense has been stepping up on offense. We are coming out hard each practice and doing what we have to do to get the job done.

How does it feel to be on the top of the depth chart?
I've been playing on the second team right now.

What was the reaction to Robert Marve being named starter, but being suspended for the first game?
Things happen. We have good quarterbacks and both of them can get the job done. We just have to learn.
