Performances of UM recruits

Several UM recruits turned in big time performances over the weekend and has the weekend recap for you. Read on to see who did what!

QB A.J. Highsmith -- He led his team to a 55-0 win to push the team's record to 2-0. Highsmith completed 7-of-11 passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns. For the season, he's now 19-of-34 for 356 yards, four touchdowns, and one pick. -- Houston Chronicle

RB Bryce Brown -- He took a kickoff back 90 yards for a touchdown and for the second straight week, Brown went for over 200 yards on the ground. He had 27 carries for 246 yards and three rushing touchdowns. --

RB Mike James -- In leading his team to a 14-0 district win over Bartow, James had 30 carries for 202 yards. He took the game's opening kickoff 90 yards for a score.

RB Lamar Miller -- In a 40-12 win over Homestead, Miller carried the ball 22 times for 102 yards and a touchdown. He also completed a pass for 29 yards. He now has 70 carries for 590 yards and 8 touchdowns this season. -- Miami Herald

WR Andre Debose -- He was suspended for Seminole's game against Dr. Phillips.

WR Rueben Randle -- He led his team to a 22-18 win and had some nice throws and close to 200 yards of offense while playing quarterback. He also caught a two-point conversion play.

TE Orson Charles -- He had about 100 yards and two touchdowns in a 64-6 win for Plant. For the season (4 games), Charles has 18 catches for 394 yards and six touchdowns -- St. Pete Times

TE Richard Wilson -- He finished his game with four catches for 90 yards and three touchdowns. He already has nine touchdown catches this season.

DB Kayvon Webster -- In a 23-6 win over Key West, Webster "had 1 for 14 and a few tackles" on defense.

DL Steve Plein -- His team lost 35-28 and his defensive stats havent been updated from that game. Heading into that game, he had 22 tackles and 1.5 sacks while playing defensive end. He has not been playing offense and doesnt have any catches. -- Fort Myers News-Press

TE Billy Sanders -- His team played the Washington 4A state champs and they lost in the final two minutes. Sanders has three catches for 29 yards on offense and 8 tackles and a caused fumble on defense. He played every snap in the game.

DE Dyron Dye -- In a 34-22 loss to Dr. Phillips, Dye finished the game with 7 tackles, three sacks, and a safety. Per a friend who was there, he was "far and away the best player on the field".

QB Ray Ray Armstrong -- He's playing both ways and was the QB in place of Debose. Armstrong had a couple rushing touchdowns in the game.

DT Luther Robinson -- In a 41-13 win, Robinson finished the game with six tackles, three sacks, and one interception! For the season (four games), Robinson now has 25 tackles, five sacks, and one pick.
