This will be a tough game for the Canes to win because of wake Forest's experience and discipline. The Deacons usually execute their game plan to perfection and force opposing teams to turn over the ball often. Fortunately for Miami, Wake Forest's offense has not been able to light up scoreboards the way Jim Grobe would like. I think Miami pulls off the victory at home thanks to a successful day running the football by Cooper and James and an excellent performance by the defense.
Miami 17 Wake Forest 10
The Hurricanes are averaging nearly 30 points per game against Division 1 opponents this season -- a solid number considering how many freshmen are playing in this offense right now. Getting a healthy Baby J will help as well. Unfortunately, the Canes are giving up nearly 28 points per game to its Div 1 opponents this season and while Wake was shut out last week, they still have some weapons, a proven winner at quarterback, and enough experience to keep this game close.
